Running into expected problems

For my 20% time I have been doing research on what would be the best things for my computer tower and what cool features I could add to it.So far I picked out the casing and the parts, for the cool features i decided to add a blue ray player and I'm going to see if i can get the newcore-i7 chip to make the speed comparable next to the ones we've had in the past. Going through this process and checking prices I'm going to have to do one of two things, use some used parts with the new ones or take this project and stretch it out over an extremely long time.

20% Time Project Proposal

          20% Time Project Proposal

Name: Gabriel Ellis
Project Title: tower Construction
Project Start Date: October 31
Project Completion Date: May 15
Mentor’s Name: Mrs. Browning, Lem Ellis, Daphne Ellis
Brief Description: I am going to attempt to construct a computer tower

Overview of Project Proposal

1) Project Objective: My project is about building a computer tower for my family. My families experience with computers is very bad. We have had 8 computers that I remember, and I would like to accept the challenge to build the longest and best computer we have had so far.

2) Project Rationale: The reason I would like to construct a computer tower is so me and my family can have a computer all of us can share and so we won’t always use my macbookpro and download stuff onto my school laptop. Personally I don’t find my project significant to those around me, I think the only people it will benefit would be my family, but to them it could be pretty significance.

3) Project Steps:
·         Learning how to build a tower
·         Finding a way to get enough money
·         Getting parts for it
·         Constructing it

4) Timeline of Activities:
·         Learning how to build a tower: December 1
·         Finding a way to get enough money: November 19- May 15
·         Getting parts for it: November 19- May 15
·         Constructing it: December 1- May 15

5) Available Human and Material Resources: Lem Ellis, Daphne Ellis, and Mrs. Browning

6) Possible Road Blocks:
·         Not having enough resources
·         Running out of money
·         Building it improperly

7) Research Questions: How will I know what is a reliable resource?
